Trimming the Town November 3-D Blog Hop

It's time for the November 3-D Blog Hop! We were formerly the 3-D Tutorial Blog Hop but decided to make the transition to a 3-D Blog Hop. This enables us to offer you 3-D project and instructions directly on our blogs each month. This month we are featuring 3-D Christmas projects for you so be sure to "hop along" to see the creative projects designed for you to use this holiday season!

My contribution this month is a cute one-piece box with tags for your gifts for the holidays.  I created a box and decorated with the red and white polka dotted DSP from Trimming the Town. I created the belly band from another piece of specialty paper from Trimming the Town. Using All the Trimmings Ribbon Combo Pack, I tied a bow and attached a bow stamped from the Gift Wrapped stamp and punched with the coordinating punch.

I then proceeded to making the tags to go inside the box to give as a gift. I used the Triple Banner Punch, Scalloped Tag Topper, and the Fancy Tag Topper Punch with Whisper White tags and DSP tags. I used a variety of stamps to decorate the tags. I put the tags inside the box and this is a perfect gift for the holidays.

Now, make sure you hop along and visit all the designer’s projects for November.  Thanks for hopping by! Be sure to leave me a note!

Love of Leaves 3-D Frame

Good Evening! Here are the frames that we made in my Love of Leaves online class with Cindee Wilkinson. I have used the Love of Leaves Bundle and Gilded Autumn DSP.

This cute picture frame is inspired by Rhonda Wade's frame class created from Early Espresso cardstock and a collection of die cuts from the Love of Leaves Bundle.

1. Cut 8-1/2" x 8-1/2" Early Espresso cardstock. Score at 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", and 2" on each side. On opposite sides, score to the first score line at 1/2." Burnish all the score lines. Cut out the corners and notch the two opposide sides.

2. Roll the sides in and glue down with Tear Tape or Tombow glue. Do the sides next that have the notches taken out. Add a bit of Tombow glue at the corners to hold it solid and in place.

3.  Cut a 3-1/2"x3-1/2 DSP from Gilded Autumn and adhere to the frame.

4. Cut the largest circle of the Layering Dies from Crumb Cake.

5. Die cut leaves from Mint Macron, Crumb Cake,Cajun Craze, and any piece of Brushed Metallic . Cut leaves from Very Vanilla using the die from The Sunflower Dies. Make ribbon from Wonder of the Season and Basket Weave and Metallic Ribbon Combo Pack. Use Versamark and heat emboss the Mint Macron die cut leaves with Gold Stampin' Emboss Powder.

6. Layer up the leaves as desired on the Crumbcake circles. Stamp the thin leaf with Mint Macron. Adhere the double ribbon to the bottom of the stems, resembling a bouquet.

7. Using Early Espresso, stamp the sentiment Hope Changes Everything on a 4"x1/2" label cut from the Lovely Labels Pick a Punch.

8. Display the frame on a wooden stand and enjoy for the holiday season.

October 3-D Blog Hop Fall Themes

It is October 1st, so
we’re celebrating with a blog hop! We’re each showcasing a second project we created using a similar theme,  stamp set/or bundle we used in our  3D Bundle Tutorial Bundle Project.

The projects designed for the 3D Tutorial Bundle are totally exclusive and include Imperial and Metric project measurements.  Here is a sneak peek for you.

For my additional project, I created a fall card using the punches from the Gilded Autumn Suit and the Autumn Goodness bundle to build this colorful fall scene.
1. Use a Thick Whisper White card base (A2)
2. Cut out the fence from Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.
3. Stamp the wheelbarrow, pumpkins, and the bunch of wheat with Early Espresso ink.
4. Use the matching dies and run the stamped items through the Emboss and Cut Machine. Cut the fence in both Crumb Cake and Early Espresso.

5. Color the stamped images with Stampin' Blends or ink with a water painter. I used Cherry Cobbler, Shaded Spruce, Bronze, Dark Sunflower, and Pumpkin (ink).
6. Start building the scene on your card base. Start with the fences. Glue the two fences together and place on card, allowing for a ground cover of leaves.
7. Add the colored pieces with Dimensionals and stamp All Good Things stamp with Early Espresso.

8. Decorate the inside with a 1 inch piece of Hounds tooth from the Gilded Autumn Designer Paper pack and add leaves of various colors and shapes using the new Autumn Punch Pack. Use the Plant Kindness Stamp with Early Espresso.

All together this is a fun bundle to use! Why don't you give these stamps and dies a try? If you like this project and want to see the 3-D projects, do order the Tutorial Bundle!

September 3D Blog Hop Magic in This Night Suite

Hello everyone! It’s September and we have another fantastic 3D Bundle for you!  We’re celebrating with a blog hop! We’re each showcasing a second project we created using the same stamp set/or bundle we used in our  3D Bundle Tutorial Bundle Project.
The projects designed for the 3D Tutorial Bundle are totally exclusive and Imperial and Metric project measurements.  Here is a sneak peek for you.
For my additional project I  decorated the new Mini Cup and Mini Carrier using products from Magic in this Night Suite.

Cut 2 Basic Grey cardstock 2-3/8" X 5-7/8"
Cut  2 Magic in This Night Suite DSP 2-7/8" X 2-3/8"
Cut 2 Magic in This Night Suite DSP 2-1/8" X 5-5/8
Cut 2 trim pieces from Magic in This Night

Attach the large matted pieces to the front and back of the carrier. The smaller pieces use Tombow to attach to the ends of the carrier.  Tie a bow with 12 inches of the Metallic Ribbon.
Stamp the sentiment on Whisper White paper. Cut out using the matching die. Color using Light Calypso Coral, Dark Pumpkin, and Light Mossy Meadow Stampin' Blend pens.
Since the cups looked empty, I cut out covers for each of the coffee cups using the same DSP. I was able to get it it done with one sheet of 12x12 DSP paper.

All together this is a fun set to use! Why don't you give it a try? If you like this project and want to see the 3-D projects, do order the Tutorial Bundle!
