Sweet Conversation Multi-Tiered Pop-Up Card with Hedgehog, Otter, Hearts, and Ladybug

Just as promised, here is the finished product from yesterday. It is a multi-tiered card that uses multiple items from the upcoming Stampin' Up! January to June Mini Catalog which goes live on January 4, 2022. The collage above gives various steps of the process. First, I created my character sticks and the frame made from Thick Basic White cardstock. I did follow the directions from Mixed Up Craft, but I wanted to use products from Stampin' Up's  new catalog.

Sets used include the Sweet Conversations Bundle, the Hello Ladybug Builder Punch, the adorable Happy Hedgehog Bundle, and the Bouquet of Love Hybrid Embossing, which allows you to emboss and die cut, too.

The cool thing about this card is that it will fold flat for mailing, but one must create an envelope, which will be another post.

Come back on January 4th, and I will have all the product information. But there are still a few days to shop the Last Chance Sale at: https://craftingcoachlaurie.stampinup.net.

Stampin' Up Sweet Conversation Bundle with Cute Characters

Happy New Year! This is a two-part blog. One will have to come back tomorrow  to see what I do with these cute figures. I am preparing samples for the January to June Mini Catalog that goes live on January 4th. I used the multiple stamps, dies, and punches for my project. These are the Awesome Otters, Happy Hedgehog Bundle, the Hello Lady Bug Bundle, and the Love and Happiness Bundle. The colors are taken from the Sweet Talk Designer Series Paper.

Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop Thanksgiving Triple Pocket Twist

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products. When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button.  Happy Crafting, and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme is: Thanksgiving.

My project for this hop is the Triple Pocket Twist. This fold was on Splitcoaststampers, and was created by Twilla Davis.   The DSP is from Beauty of the Earth. This set of paper is perfect for year-round since there are samples representing winter, spring, summer, and fall. This pattern is ideal for a Thanksgiving theme.  Here is the video for more directions. Triple Pocket Twist

Cut List

1. 8-1/4" x 8-1/8" Cajun Craze, scoring on the 8-1/4" side at 4-1/8"

2.  Rotate and score on the 8 1/8" side at 1/2", 2 7/8", 5 1/4", & 7 5/8".

3.  Flip over and score diagonally from the top of the 1/2" scoreline to the bottom 3rd scoreline. Turn around and do the same.

4. Trim away parts of the 1/2" scorelines as shown in picture. Add adhesive to flaps.

5. Cut one 4" x 2 1/4" and two 3 7/8" x 2 1/4" pieces of patterned paper.

Take the 2 smaller pieces and cut into triangles, being sure to cut from bottom left to top right.

6. Adhere to the card base. I did take pictures, but my camera died, and no more pictures. I did take a picture of the card folded after the Tear and Taped pieces were attached. Here is what it looks like. But before I took off the release sheet, I made sure that all the folds were creased backwards and forwards so that the card would fold easily.

Right side                                                            Backside

7. Create a belly band from 1" x11." Attach the Gold Shimmer Vellum label die-cut from the Tasteful Label Dies. Thanksgiving was die-cut from Cajun Craze using the Word Wishes Dies. Embellish with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Gems. Add the gift card before folding up.

Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop Cutest Halloween Candy Holder

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products. When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button.  Happy Crafting, and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme:
Halloween.

I love M&M's, and this treat holder is perfect for those mini-M&M's. I found the food grade tubes at Amazon. I used the Cute Halloween 6"x6" DSP  for the decorating of this box. Using many of the various sheets to create this colorful treat that anyone would be happy to receive.

I have a tutorial created from previous paper that gives all the supplies and measurements in both Imperial and Metric. Please ask for it in the comments below. I will include the basic cut directions here.

  • Pumpkin Pie

    • 5-1/2” x 10”

    • 3/4"X 2-1/2"

  • DSP Cute Halloween

    • 5” x 3” (Back)

    • 1-3/4"x 2-3/4" (Front)

    • 1" X 1-3/4 " (Side of Box) x2

    • 1" X 2-3/4" (Bottom)

  • DESCRIPTION – COLOUR

    • 12” (x2) Black and White Ribbon)

  • Candy Storage Tubes (Amazon)

  • Mini M&M's

  1. Cut out each piece listed in the measurements above.

  2. Score on the short edge at 1-1/4 Inches (3.2cm). On the longer edge score at 5", 6-1/4", 8-1/4", 9-1/2" (12.7cm, 15.9cm, 21cm, 24.1cm)

  3. Burnish on all the score lines. Cut the flaps as shown, cutting off the last score line. Miter the edges on the flap. Use the hole punch to cut out the needed size for the candy tubes. Attach Tear and Tape as shown.

  1. Fold the box step-by-step as s

  1. Decorate as desired. I used DSP from Cute Halloween . Glue the DSP to the various sides of the treat holder.

  2. Fill tubes with Mini M&M's since the tubes have narrow openings.

  3. Use the Black and White Ribbon and tie a bow on each tube.

  4. Give to one lucky person to help make her day!
