Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year. We hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products. When you have completed each post, be sure to scroll down to the bottom and you will see the list of Blog Hop Participants. You may either click on their name to go to their post or click the NEXT button. Happy Crafting, and I hope you enjoy this month’s theme is: Thanksgiving.
My project for this hop is the Triple Pocket Twist. This fold was on Splitcoaststampers, and was created by Twilla Davis. The DSP is from Beauty of the Earth. This set of paper is perfect for year-round since there are samples representing winter, spring, summer, and fall. This pattern is ideal for a Thanksgiving theme. Here is the video for more directions. Triple Pocket Twist
Cut List
1. 8-1/4" x 8-1/8" Cajun Craze, scoring on the 8-1/4" side at 4-1/8"
2. Rotate and score on the 8 1/8" side at 1/2", 2 7/8", 5 1/4", & 7 5/8".
3. Flip over and score diagonally from the top of the 1/2" scoreline to the bottom 3rd scoreline. Turn around and do the same.
4. Trim away parts of the 1/2" scorelines as shown in picture. Add adhesive to flaps.
5. Cut one 4" x 2 1/4" and two 3 7/8" x 2 1/4" pieces of patterned paper.
Take the 2 smaller pieces and cut into triangles, being sure to cut from bottom left to top right.
6. Adhere to the card base. I did take pictures, but my camera died, and no more pictures. I did take a picture of the card folded after the Tear and Taped pieces were attached. Here is what it looks like. But before I took off the release sheet, I made sure that all the folds were creased backwards and forwards so that the card would fold easily.
Right side Backside
7. Create a belly band from 1" x11." Attach the Gold Shimmer Vellum label die-cut from the Tasteful Label Dies. Thanksgiving was die-cut from Cajun Craze using the Word Wishes Dies. Embellish with Holiday Rhinestone Basic Gems. Add the gift card before folding up.
