Luv 2 Stamp Blog Hop April Teacher Appreciation Artfully Composed Suite

Welcome to the Luv 2 Stamp Group’s 2021 Blog Hop! We are excited to share projects with you this year and hope to inspire you to create beautiful new projects. Each month we will have a different theme based on the next month’s celebrations using Stampin’ Up! products.

Once you are done with each post, scroll down to the bottom and you will see a list of Blog Hop participants. You can click on their name to go to their post, or you can click the next button to go to the next post in line. Happy crafting! This month’s theme is Teacher Appreciation.

Since I am a teacher, I thought about what would be meaningful to me. I started with looking at poems and verses about teachers. Once I looked on Pinterest, I found many poems and verses of inspiration. I really liked

I printed this free verse and selected products from the Artfully Composed Suite. I thought the paper and dies were perfect to complement my inspirational quote.

I layered up the Calypso Coral and the Diagonal Striped piece from the above DSP. Adhering the verse to the lower quadrant of the mat I die cut and fussy cut shapes from other coordinating sheets of DSP. I popped-up several of the dies and tucked other branches underneath all around the quotation. Here is the finished product before putting in a white 12"x 12" frame.

This sentiment is so true. As a teacher I want to help students "grow!" Just like plants need the right environment, so do students. I can help plant love, respect, and encouragement in addition to the course material.
Thank you so much for checking out our hop today! We know you are going to love all the other projects you will see in the hop today so don’t forget to hop all the way around. You are currently at my blog – Laurie Bradshaw. Check out the list below to make sure you see who is next. Please click on the names below to continue on the hop.
